and back again
My journey into applied behavior analysis began with a genuine fascination for how behavior works — how we learn, how we change, and how the right environment can unlock someone's potential. That curiosity led me to pursue my BCBA certification, and it transformed the way I see my work entirely.
Over the years, I worked directly with individuals across a wide spectrum of needs, gaining hands-on experience in both clinical and supervisory settings. I saw firsthand how quality supervision and preparation shaped the next generation of behavior analysts — and how a lack of guidance could leave candidates feeling lost in the process.
That experience became the foundation of ABA Instructional. I founded this practice because I wanted to offer something I wished I'd had: a knowledgeable, compassionate guide who understood every step of the certification journey — from the first RBT course to BCBA candidacy — and who was genuinely invested in each student's success.
Today, working from Tampa, Florida, I have the privilege of supporting candidates through one of the most meaningful professional milestones of their lives. Every student I work with reminds me why this work matters.
